The "Analysis" group works in many different problems: calculus of variations, dynamical systems, numerical methods, stochastic analysis,  stochastic and deterministic partial differential equations, harmonic analysis and operator theory, mathematical models in physical and biological sciences, etc. The group has 17 Ph.D. members with a high degree of internationalization (Brazil, Finland, France, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Spain, UK, USA among others). In the last years, the group has published in leading international journals. Many conferences were organized by team members. It also has a leading role in international partnerships for joint Ph.D. programs. Funding is provided by several national and international projects, many of them led by group members. The group is also active in science popularization, involving several of its members.
