Title: "Topology optimization and image classification with gradient-free perimeter approximation".

Abstract: In a first part, I will propose a new family of smooth perimeter approximating functionals designed to be incorporated within topology optimization algorithms.
$\Gamma$-convergence and the compactness of sequences of minimizers, are first shown.
Then we propose several methods for the solution of topology optimization problems with perimeter penalization.
In a second part this method is applied to multilabel image classification problems. Possibly noisy and blurred greyscale and color images are processed, with or without automatic update of the labels. References on the talk can be found:
