Following the developments related to the SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19 pandemic, which is also conditioning the work of the scientific community, the FCT, I.P. has created a webpage with all the important information regarding this situation for the scientific community.

Fabio Chalub, CMA member and one of the eight commissioners for the first official celebration of International Mathematics Day, had the opportunity to explain to the "Diário de Notícias" newspaper the importance of this celebrations.

Successful participation of team including two CMA members in the ASSIN2 workshop.

This is the theme of the first International Day of Mathematics (IDM), to be celebrated each year on March 14 (3/14, the first digits of the number "pi").

The CMA member, Fabio Chalub, was nominated to form the "Governing Board of the International Day of Mathematics".
